File and processing

PNG, 1230 × 918 pixels, RGB, retaining the natural colour of the paper. The original embedded JPEG stream on PDF page 32 was extracted unchanged: 1854 × 2884 pixels, 1715506 bytes, SHA-256 5f5de6d25690b3275b03f28100e866ba4af4519985dcc2d0890e1ac444f2830f.

The page image was aligned 0.61 degrees clockwise with one bicubic resampling, then cropped to (280, 990)–(1510, 1908) in the expanded 1886 × 2904 pixel image; right and bottom bounds are exclusive. The crop lies entirely within the original source image. The complete composition, engraving credit and printed caption are preserved; adjacent prose is outside the crop and remains available in the complete source PDF.

The source PDF's sRGB IEC61966-2.1 colour profile is embedded in the PNG without converting the pixel values. No enlargement, colour or tonal correction, sharpening, retouching or reconstruction was applied.
