Natural Bridge, Pont-du-Moulin, Sark. A coastal rock arch at Sark, with a shingle beach, boulders, water and distant sailing boats, from The Channel Islands. The signature C. P. is preserved. The arch, fractured rock faces, foreground stones and hatching match the left-hand scrapbook view; its caption and outer edges were trimmed in the album. The signatory's full name and role are not established here.
Harper's New Monthly Magazine, vol.51, no.301, June1875, printed p.14. The issue number and date were read on the actual opening page of this scanned volume. The printed title gives volumeLI; the catalogue headline Volume29 is inconsistent and is not used here.
Compared directly with H. P. Blavatsky's Scrapbooks, volume3, page179, left-hand view. This witness does not establish the first-ever appearance or identify the physical copy used for the scrapbook. Other neighbouring scrapbook pictures and text are not part of this engraving.

The engraving and original printed caption were cropped from(235, 370)–(2710, 2340), aligned by0.198262 degrees clockwise using one bicubic resampling, then trimmed to(16, 16)–(2459, 1954). Right and bottom bounds are exclusive. No added canvas is included. The complete page remains linked above. Natural paper colour, marks and show-through are preserved. No enlargement, colour or tonal correction, sharpening, retouching or reconstruction was applied. PNG compression is lossless; the source itself is JPEG.
