Summary
Description
Louisa May Alcott. Engraved portrait of Louisa May Alcott, showing her curled hair, dress and brooch. The artist and engraver have not been securely identified here.
From Concord Books, Harper's New Monthly Magazine, vol. LI (51), no. CCCI (301), June 1875, printed p.28. The issue number and date are printed on the actual opening page of this scanned volume. Its printed title gives volumeLI; the repository headline Volume29 is inconsistent with both that title and its volume51 metadata and is not used here.
The face, hair, dress, brooch and hatching match the scrapbook. The complete journal page, linked below, already prints the facsimile Very much yours / L. M. Alcott. This derivative contains the portrait only; the facsimile and surrounding prose remain visible on the full source page. Compared directly with H. P. Blavatsky's Scrapbooks, volume3, page201, item2. This witness does not establish the first-ever appearance or identify the physical copy used for the scrapbook. The album text and editorial notes are not changed.

No added canvas is included. Natural paper colour, marks and show-through are preserved. No enlargement, colour or tonal correction, sharpening, retouching or reconstruction was applied. PNG compression is lossless; the source itself is JPEG. The complete page, with all original text and any printed facsimile, remains linked above.
