The Spiritualist, volume XV, no. 16 (whole no. 373), 17 October 1879, printed p. 190, one-based PDF page 12. The engraver is not established. This identifies a matching publication; it does not establish which physical copy supplied the scrapbook cutting. The account's claims concerning mediumship are historical statements of the publication, not independently verified conclusions.

Faithful 300 dpi composite rendering of the source PDF page, corresponding to the approximately 300 dpi embedded scan layers; the layered page is retained intact in the original PDF. Crop (1210, 260)–(2190, 2678), right and bottom exclusive, from the 2388 × 3364 page rendering. Complete drawing and printed caption retained; adjacent prose and page-header rule excluded. The drawing is already aligned: no rotation. No enlargement of the source detail, colourization, tonal adjustment, sharpening, retouching or reconstruction.
