The Emperor and the Grand Dukes followed the coffin on foot, and the Empress and the Grand Duchesses in mourning carriages.”<br /> <br /> This is a lesson of gentle courtesy that the Victorian Court, the automatic slave of etiquette, would do well to lay to heart and study deeply.</div>
