{{Style S-Dialog speaker|Thinker}}. – Of course, there are always those who are willing to use any opportunity for selfish interests, but we should not generalize anything. Some governments use this as an occasion to check the combat readiness of their people, as a practice alert. I can't see anything wrong in it. On the contrary, I consider it is right and necessary to use this situation for training a variety of rescue services, perfecting the interaction between the departments responsible for safety in emergency situations. For the country's leadership this is an opportunity to test people readiness for joint action in case of serious threats. The civic solidarity and responsibility must have their probation and consolidation tools. Any skill can only be developed through a certain action. Speculation and planning alone are not enough. | {{Style S-Dialog speaker|Thinker}}. – Of course, there are always those who are willing to use any opportunity for selfish interests, but we should not generalize anything. You have to understand that people often cover up their weaknesses and disadvantages with high concepts and slogans. The indulgence of weaknesses is no less damaging than the tyranny. Neither of the extremes can be allowed. A sensible discussion about the appropriateness of actions should prompt whether such statements on violation are fair or it's just a reaction of a child being forced to do something against his wishes. | {{Style S-Dialog speaker|Thinker}}. – No more than the will of the parent, restricting his child in eating sweets and making him do some useful work or study instead of watching TV or playing computer games. {{Style S-Dialog speaker|Thinker}}. – Exactly. This world is firmly bound by cause-effect relationship. No one gets hurt, if he has not laid for this some reason. This is a simple rule that many have adopted in relation to themselves, but also it's fair to apply it on a larger scale: to people, country and humanity in general. Leo Tolstoy described it in his "War and peace" very well and in detail. Each person individually decides for himself whether to perform any role in hostilities; if so, what kind, if not, what he is going to do instead. The general won’t lead his soldiers into battle, unless he have enough power to conduct military operations (desperate bravery and daring, forcing sometimes to do so are the cases for individual consideration). Thus, war occurs only if we get enough people to fight. The same is true with different kinds of epidemics and pandemics – they only happen when there are enough people with similar faults and misdeeds. Almost any illness is a signal of a wrong step or a lesson that wasn’t learned. The more persistent we were at making mistakes and acting immorally, the more evident is a disease. | {{Style S-Dialog speaker|Thinker}}. – Exactly. {{Style S-Dialog speaker|Thinker}}. – If you take any serious disease with a fatal outcome, it may seem cruel, indeed; but if you take into account that its current ultimate manifestation is the only proper response to one’s own extreme behaviour in the past, it is only fair. The law of retribution (or equilibrium) is impartial. Imagine a load tied to the rope hanging down the wall. If you move it along the wall and release, you will get a pendulum, which can be used, for example, in the mechanism of clocks, and be very useful. Now, what happens if you pull aside the load from the wall and release? Obviously, it will hit the wall. If you pull aside more, then the impact will be stronger, and if you increase the weight of the load, the impact will be even much stronger. Thus it is possible to reach the maximum deviation of the load from the equilibrium position and increase its weight so that it will just break through the wall. A disease is the very load of our injustices and follies. | {{Style S-Dialog speaker|Thinker}}. – If you take any serious disease with a fatal outcome, it may seem cruel, indeed; but if you take into account that its current ultimate manifestation is the only proper response to one’s own extreme behaviour in the past, it is only fair. So while we are destroying forests and ocean algae, providing many living things with oxygen – we will have diseases of respiratory organs; while we give vent to irritation, anger and aggression – there will be deadly earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions; while we pollute and drain rivers on the surface and below it there will be problems with the blood circulatory system and so on and so forth. | {{Style S-Dialog speaker|Thinker}}. – I would like to emphasize the close relationship between all beings and phenomena. The word epidemic comes from the preposition epi (ἐπί) – indicating a close connection with something (on, over, under, near, beside, before, during, something, based on something) and demos (δῆμος) – a nation, a country. The word pandemic uses the pronoun pan (πάν) – all, the whole meaning also world, universe and basis, most important, the essence. Thus, the epidemic is something that concerns the entire nation or country, that is, that covers a large group of related people (and this concept can be applied not only to diseases), a pandemic is something that embraces the whole humanity in general (the whole world, as we say), regardless of any evident or supposed relationships. In other words, the pandemic shows that we are all interconnected, even if someone would like to live separately from the others. For those who adhere to some principles of elitism (according to national, sexual, property, wealth or other grounds), it is a signal to look at the world in a broader way. | {{Style S-Dialog speaker|Thinker}}. – Alas, it is inevitable. Coronavirus – a Medicine from Aggression
Enquirer. – Have you heard about the coronavirus, which keeps the entire planet in awe?
Thinker. – Yes, it is so often spoken about that to pass it is simply impossible.
Enquirer. – But don't you think that the fuss made about it is just someone’s skilled manipulation of public opinion?
Thinker.
Enquirer. – But people are restricted in their movement, forced to stay at home, to undergo examinations, etc. Isn't it a violation of human rights and freedom?
Thinker. – No more than the will of the parent, restricting his child in eating sweets and making him do some useful work or study instead of watching TV or playing computer games.
Enquirer. – I’ve also heard a theory that this virus had been created artificially, and is actually biological weapons.
Thinker. – It may be so or may be not. It does not really matter who lit a match in a powder magazine. It is much more important to understand how it happened that we are in the magazine, why it was built, what for we stockpiled gunpowder there and how we planned to use it. After all, the gunpowder and the magazine were made by our own hands.
Enquirer. – Do you want to say that even if the coronavirus was really created by someone artificially, nevertheless all the people are guilty of its appearance?
Thinker.
Enquirer. – Is not such treatment of the guilty too cruel? And what about mercy?
Thinker.
Enquirer. – But can we be warned more gently. Why is this cruelty?
Thinker. – What you call cruelty is only a consequence of the insensitivity of mankind to the more gentle warnings.
Enquirer. – Why does this virus mainly affect the elderly?
Thinker. – Probably this question should be attributed to the ones that make the proper understanding of life-cycle of man and his dwelling on the Earth. Each incarnation is designed to solve a specific task. That’s why since his birth a person has had a certain margin of safety for the given body, so it would be able to develop to the required level and to provide an opportunity for the incarnated personality to solve set problems. Therefore, up to a certain age the human immune system is much stronger than in subsequent years.
Enquirer. – Do I understand you correctly that you mean, so to speak, normal incarnation excluding congenital diseases and abnormalities.
Thinker. – Yes, I'm talking about the general law. Life is so diverse that there can be the most extreme manifestations. So some human actions have effects at the beginning of one of his next incarnations, even before consciousness can completely get used to a new body. All deviations are consequence of the previous incarnations. They are quite logical and natural if we consider the life on a larger scale.
Enquirer. – I’ve heard that the coronavirus acts so that it only removes the protection, i.e. makes a person open to diseases that he has accumulated. However, there are so many harmful bacteria that removing protection means almost certain death.
Thinker. – First of all you shouldn’t dramatize. Statistics show that the mortality rate among infected under 50 years does not exceed 0.4%, then it rises, but even for the most vulnerable age older than 80 years, this figure does not exceed 15%, and this age exceed by itself the average life duration[1] , so the cause of death may be simply the end of life's journey. Second, as mentioned earlier, any disease does not exist by itself. Disease is a re-action, i.e. a recurrent action. And we can see that not all those infected with this virus, die.
Enquirer. – What is in your opinion a recurrent action of the coronavirus?
Thinker. – People are to be blamed of vast forest areas are burned down in Siberia, the Amazon basin and around the world[2]. And this is despite the fact (which we learn in school) that forests are the lungs of the planet. No wonder that the coronavirus affects human lungs. After all, man is a microcosm of the macrocosm, it reflects everything that is happening in the world.
Enquirer. – It reminded me of another version of the coronavirus origin, rather humorous than serious. Some people say that the virus is not actually a disease, but a medicine that our planet uses against human beings, that it (Earth) has got some pathogenic people and it is treating itself with the coronavirus.
Thinker. – This joke is more truth than a joke. It reflects our inseparable connection with all that surrounds us. All planetary processes are closely connected with human activities. This concerns not only diseases, but also seemingly independent (from the humanity) phenomena, such as tsunamis, tornadoes, volcanoes, etc.
Enquirer. – Would you like to say that man is the cause of all catastrophes on the planet? That is, if there were no man on the Earth, then there wouldn’t be, say, volcanoes?
Thinker. – I would like to emphasize the close relationship between all beings and phenomena. The planet is a living organism, which has its own line of development, its stages of growth and the inherent processes. But our planet does not develop in isolation from us, and we are not able to develop independently from it.
Enquirer. – But it paints a pretty bleak picture, especially taking in consideration the consumer attitude of our contemporaries to nature. Is it possible at all to prevent occurrence of epidemics and pandemics in the future?
Thinker. – Theoretically – yes, since they are only a consequence of the selfish ambitions of mankind. Virtually – no, because selfishness is very strong and it is very hard to abandon the consumer attitude towards life. Many people prefer suffering from diseases, but to get what they want.
Enquirer. – Does it mean that such epidemics or pandemics could appear again?
Thinker. – Alas, it is inevitable. These words themselves give us a good hint. Both of them are Greek.
Enquirer. – But if we can’t avoid epidemics in the near future, is it possible to get some preventive measures to reduce their tragedy?
Thinker. – Yes, of course, we can; and I think you already understand what it is. Humanity should be more responsible for their actions, be more careful to each other and the nature surrounding us. We should try to shift the focus of our interests from immediate personal desires to what would be more useful for the entire mankind and planet. The more people will think and act in this direction, the less reason will remain for the emergence of epidemics.
Enquirer. – Thank you for the clarification!
Thinker. – Let the awareness of the One Life become more clear to you!
