This template marks a printed page of The Path with a dark-green, rounded marginal label. It follows the positioning and semantic-bookmark convention of {{Page aside}}, while keeping Path pagination distinct from BCW and other editions.
Required parameters: v (volume), n (issue), p (printed page).
{{Page aside in Path|v=1|n=1|p=9}}
This displays 9, creates the bookmark path_v1_n1_p9, and gives the tooltip The Path, vol. 1, No. 1, p. 9.
Use the optional item parameter only when another text block on the same wiki page begins on the same printed page:
{{Page aside in Path|v=1|n=1|p=9|item=2}}
Its bookmark is path_v1_n1_p9_2; the visible page number is still 9. Within a continuous text block, insert a marker only when the printed page changes. Volume and issue numbers remain part of every bookmark, even when two editions have the same printed page number.
The semantic property [[Page number]] stores the full bookmark, following {{Page aside}} when its first parameter is an edition-specific anchor.
