Zodiac diagram: a matching diagram for H. P. Blavatsky's Scrapbooks, volume 11, page 71, item 1. The concentric months and zodiac figures, central sun and rays, small earth and intermediate bodies, and four numbered geometric corner symbols correspond to the album's diagram. The diagram has no individual printed title below it on the reviewed first page; Zodiac diagram is a descriptive label. The artist or engraver is not established.

Source publication: The Herald of Progress, volume II, no. 39, Friday, 8 April 1881, first page (one-based PDF page 1). The issue/date/volume are printed in the masthead. The album clipping includes the masthead; this display copy reproduces the complete diagram plate. No separate printed folio is asserted. This identifies the exact matching issue, not the particular physical copy used in the scrapbook.

Grayscale PNG, 3400 × 3514 pixels (11,947,600 pixels), reduced once with LANCZOS from the complete 4060 × 4196 native image. The server rejects thumbnail creation for the full PNG above its 12.5-megapixel limit; this separate display derivative stays below that limit. The native original is preserved unchanged as SB-11-071-source-1.png — full-size scan, uploaded once, with original decoded pixels and Google digitization imprint.

The entire native image extent is retained: all outer lines, corner symbols, labels, scan specks, white footer and Google imprint. No further crop or rotation. No enlargement, tonal adjustment, colourization, sharpening, retouching or reconstruction. This PNG is losslessly encoded after the one stated size reduction. Native image pixels are not a certificate of optical resolving power. Source remains monochrome, not a natural-paper-colour scan.

The original native JPEG 2000 image from PDF page 1, object500 (/P1), DeviceGray, is 670,046 bytes, SHA-256 13de1898826378beb9d3907114755c8d79ae15de1224a1165de0ccbd2bb9d635.
