Very dear and honored Madame Blavatsky!

It is with palpitations of the heart that I address this word to You dear Madame – (like the criminal before his judge?) (Since I have had the misfortune to have lost the unhappy book!) and I will not have any rest until I know You have it again. It is a rather long time since I wrote from London to there that it is being sent to You, and that is why I have to ask of You the grace to write me only one word: "Yes" or "No" In the case of "No" I would write once again to London. – I think much of You dear Madam, each of your words is written in my heart, and those great days that I spent at Ostend, will never fade from my memory! – I am back here in my prison, who duty locks me – where the die is cast – it is through pain, and the resignation that we develop, – so I am very lucky to develop myself?

Forgive me if I have annoyed you – Your great spirit is probably untouched by the tender feelings that I carry for you; but for me it is a great good fortune to have seen you, to have kissed the hands who wrote these great truths, who (like the eternal ones! will enlighten the world) – You are the great Prophet of the next century, and I have seen You! I had the grace that You spoke to me!

I have not yet seen my friend the countess ... otherwise I would have many compliments to say to You from her.

I kiss your hands with the greatest respect and with the most affectionate feeling

Your devoted

G Pott

How is Your health!

G. Pott

Comment va Votre sante!
