File and processing
JPEG, 735 × 1160 pixels. Prepared from the existing 2450 × 3242 full-page JPEG of printed p. 94. The input was retained unchanged. Crop bounds in that page, before alignment: left 1605, top 1970, right 2340, bottom 3130 pixels. A small 0.125-degree counterclockwise alignment was applied from the printed caption baseline, using a single bicubic inverse-affine resampling. No enlargement, colour or tonal adjustment, sharpening, retouching or reconstruction was applied.
The whole engraved composition and printed caption are retained, with a small paper margin. Other illustrations, article text, the column divider, running header and excess page margins are outside this crop. The linked full digitized volume preserves the page context. Dating and limits
The date 1893 belongs to this book edition. It is not assigned to the album clipping or to the first publication of the engraving. Internet Archive notes an anonymous 1873 edition titled All Round the World, but this does not establish that the image was already present in that edition. The publication used for the album clipping, its original date, and the individual artist and engraver remain unidentified.

The Internet Archive record reports a visible copyright notice dated 1893; it does not supply a separate Creative Commons licence for this crop. The reproduction here retains the source's natural paper colour and printed lines, with only the geometric processing described above.
