This article begins in a separate lower-right clipping on scrapbook page 137. Its first printed page number is not preserved in that fragment, but the sentence continues directly onto printed pp. 46, 47 and 48 on scrapbook pages 138–140, establishing p. 45 as the beginning. The April month is reconstructed from The Arya’s continuous pagination: March 1882 was its first issue, while the May material on the same scrapbook spread is printed on pp. 63 and 65.
