sophical society itself. Their advent to Madras has tended much to awaken our brethren from their lethargic stupor. They have gone to some of the Mofussil stations where their arrival was eagerly awaited for. They will be back again here within a month, when there will be another lecture. After arriving at Madras they mean to go to Ceylon where Col. Olcott will perfect the benevolent efforts which he set on foot there some time back.
