<noinclude>Reserve a left margin for printed page numbers, so that marginal pagination remains inside the content area in a narrow window. This layout uses the same CSS properties as the Russian Teopedia's page-number margin:
position: relative; margin-left: 48px;
.

Place the opening call immediately after {{t|CTD literature}}. Close the container after the text and its footnotes:

{{CTD literature
| title = Example

}}
{{Page aside margins}}

{{Page aside in Lucifer|v=1|n=1|p=9}}
The text of the work.

{{Footnotes}}
{{Page aside margins|end=yes}}

The template opens a block;
end=yes
closes that same block. Use one pair around the whole work, not a new pair at each issue or printed page. Keep the literature card outside the container. The reserved margin is 48 pixels; existing page markers positioned at
left: 0
with a
-40px
left margin begin 8 pixels inside the available content area. No fixed text width is imposed. This template changes only layout, not bookmarks, page labels or text. It can be used with {{t|Page aside}} as well as {{t|Page aside in Lucifer}}.
