Template:Addition

This template can be used anywhere in the text to add extra information, correction notes and questions.

where the parameters are:

• Words in text -- optional; if given, these words are underlined with a dotted line whose colour depends on the addition type, e.g. underlined with a dotted blue line
• Anchor -- a bookmark on this page and on the discussion page, one or two words;
• type -- may take one of the following values:
  • addition (default) -- if type is not set the words in the text are underlined with a dotted blue line and a tooltip is added: "There is additional information. See the «Addition» tab."
  • correction -- the words are underlined with a dotted green line and a tooltip is added: "The text has been corrected. See the «Addition» tab."
  • question -- the words are underlined with a dotted red line and a tooltip is added: "There is a question about this place, clarification is needed. See the «Addition» tab."
• explanation -- a pop-up text; if not set, a default pop-up explanation is added depending on the addition type.

On the discussion page the original text is marked off by the templates {{Source text begins}} and {{Source text ends}}. The commented or supplemented part is marked by the template {{Highlight}} and is followed by the addition.
