Vajrasattva

The name of the sixth Dhyani‐Buddha (of whom there are but five in the popular Northern Buddhism) — in the Yogâchârya school, the latter counting seven Dhyâni‐Buddhas and as many Bodhisattvas — the “mind‐sons” of the former. Hence, the Orientalists refer to Vajrasattva as “a fictitious Bodhisattva”. (TG).
