Hurrychund Chintamon
Hurrychund Chintamon
*Commentary on the Bhagavad-Gita. (BCW 1:470).

Initially hosted the Founders in Bombay. He was expelled from the Theosophical Society in May 1879; a June notice by Dayananda Saraswati made financial allegations against him, to which H. P. Blavatsky added annotations. These allegations are reported as the document’s claims. (B. de Zirkoff, BCW 2:48, BCW 2:xxvi-xxvii)

B. de Zirkoff suggests that he was the recipient of H. P. Blavatsky’s letters of 1878–1879, excerpts from which were reportedly published in the Bombay Gazette on 27 October 1884. Zirkoff was unable to verify the publication details. (B. de Zirkoff, BCW 6:313)
