Isis Branch

At a Paris meeting on 23 June 1888 the Branch revised its rules and addressed internal dissension. Le Lotus ceased to be its official organ. (B. de Zirkoff, BCW 9:xxv) At its meeting of 13 July 1888 it endorsed H. P. Blavatsky’s action in the Paris dispute. On 17 September H. S. Olcott withdrew its charter and granted a new charter to the Hermes Branch. (B. de Zirkoff, BCW 10:xxiv-xxv)
