Jan Hendrik Caspar Kern

Dutch Orientalist (1833-1917), a pupil of Albrecht Weber and scholar of Buddhism. Wrote a history of Buddhism in India and translated the Saddharmapundarika for volume 21 of Sacred Books of the East (1884). (BCW 5:376).
