Speaker’s Commentary

A commentary on the Authorized Version of the Bible, edited by F. C. Cook and published in London in 1871-1876. It was prepared by Anglican clergy at the suggestion of J. E. Denison, Speaker of the House of Commons, whose office supplied its familiar name. (BCW 2:544-545).
