La Science des religions first appeared as articles in La Revue des Deux Mondes (1864-1868). A second edition was published in Paris in 1872; E. J. Rapson’s English translation followed in London in 1888. (BCW 2:524).
Author of Le Bouddhisme en Occident, published in Revue des Deux-Mondes on 15 July 1888 (BCW 10:416).
