Carl du Prel

Author of Die Planetenbewohner und die Nebularhypothese (Leipzig, 1880), a study of the development of the universe. De Zirkoff also lists Das Janus-Gesicht des Menschen and Die Weltstellung des Menschen, which he could not trace. (BCW 6:444).

His Philosophy of Mysticism appeared in Leipzig in 1884; C. C. Massey's English translation was published in two volumes in London in 1889 (BCW 10:426).

H. P. Blavatsky annotated a review of his Die Weltstellung des Menschen and Das Janus-Gesicht des Menschen, discussing the dependence of perception on the constitution of the perceiver. (B. de Zirkoff, BCW 6:155-156)
